I can’t say enough positive things about Melrose Knitting Mill and the Southern Oak Events team! They made the wedding planning process easy, fun, and individual to us. We also received countless compliments about the staff that was present during the event (wait staff, bar-tenders, etc.) from our guests. Jessica and Amy Sue are incredible at their jobs and I’d recommend them to anyone looking to host an event!
From the moment we walked into the space, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The space is absolutely stunning and everything we were looking for. Southern Oaks, their in house coordinators, are amazing and helped our day go off super smoothly. The food was insanely delicious, and we had multiple guests come up to us and rave about the cocktail hour apps as well as the dinner. All of the staff from the bartenders to the servers were extremely professional and wonderful to work with.
I could go on forever about this gorgeous venue and wonderful staff! We got married here on 9/23 (POURING rain) and it was the most wonderful experience. I worked with Nicole and she was beyond incredible. From the initial booking all the way through to the big day, everything was so organized and everyone was over and above so kind. We love this space so much and want to thank all of the southern oak staff for making our dreams come true.

Melrose Knitting Mill was just a beautiful venue and offered exceptional service. From the tastings to the walk throughs to the actual party they were great! Might have to get married again just to go through the process again.
We cannot put into words quite what Melrose did for us. Our ceremony was intimate, but our reception was large. They protected that for us, all while making sure our guests had an incredible experienc… Everything about our night was beautiful thanks to this team and the food was, of course, incredible.
