COVID-19 Approved Wedding & Event Ideas

Are you a bride or groom getting married during these uncertain times? We’ve got some great ideas to make your day safe and enjoyable for all of your guests.

All Things Custom

Masks
Create custom masks for your family and friends to wear during the ceremony and reception! Since we don’t know how long we’ll be needing masks, guests will appreciate this gesture. Bonus: These can also double as a party favor.

Hand Sanitizer
Everyone loves a mini hand sanitizer that you can fit in a small purse or pocket. Create custom labels and put them on your hand sanitizer. If you are having a seated dinner place them at each person’s table setting so they can sanitize before they dig into their delicious meal.

Cups
Custom cups are always fun – COVID or not. Use your wedding logo or your new name to customize these cups. These are a good way for guests to feel safe with their own cups and not glassware during the event. Add paper straws, too, for another fun, sustainable touch!

Food + Drinks

Drinks and Dinner Options
Work with your event coordinator and the chef to come up with creative ways for no-contact drinking and eating. Below are a few good ideas to give you a little inspiration.

  • Mini bottles of sparkling water or wine for cocktail hour
  • Pre-plated appetizers think individual hor d’oeuvre plates for guests (See our menu here.)
  • Seated dinner with plated meals – say goodbye to buffets for the time being!

Streaming Your Ceremony?
Send gift boxes to virtual attendees, much like you would a wedding welcome box for out of town guests. Fill the box with non-perishable items, prepackaged dessert, a mini bottle of champagne or your favorite liquor, and simple wedding favor! That way, while your virtual guests are watching, they can feel more involved.
